Our story
Shenandoah Ridge Farm & Orchard began with a simple vision: to grow honest food and build something that matters. What started as a small garden and a few chickens quickly grew into a labor of love rooted in hard work, sunshine, and a desire to serve our local community. Today, we offer farm-fresh produce, pasture-raised eggs, and bulk Angus beef shares—all grown or sourced with care, right here in East Tennessee. We believe in doing things the right way—no chemicals, no shortcuts, just real food from people who care.

Our history
Shenandoah Ridge Farm & Orchard began as a backyard project fueled by a love for the land and a desire to live more intentionally. What started with a handful of chickens, a small garden, and a dream has grown into a working farm that feeds our family, neighbors, and community. Over time, we expanded our offerings to include farm-fresh eggs, seasonal produce—all delivered with care and integrity. Every harvest, every delivery, and every seed planted is part of a bigger purpose: to reconnect people to their food and the hands that grow it.
Our Future
At Shenandoah Ridge Farm & Orchard, the word orchard in our name isn’t just a title — it’s a promise.
We’re building more than a farm. We’re cultivating a place where community, sustainability, and education grow side by side. Here's a glimpse into what the future holds:
🍎 The Orchard Becomes Reality
We're planting the first rows of fruit trees that will one day fill the valley with apples, pears, peaches, and more. This orchard will be open to the community — a place to pick your own fruit, walk the rows, and share the harvest.
🛒 Farm Storefront
A rustic farm store is on the horizon. You’ll be able to shop fresh eggs, produce, local meats, jams, honey, baked goods, and more — all in one welcoming space.
🧒 Youth Education & Employment
We believe in sowing seeds in people, too. We're creating programs to employ local youth and teach them skills in agriculture, business, and sustainability.
🌻 Nonprofit Giving
Through the SEED Initiative (Sustain, Educate, Empower, Develop), we aim to give back. Scholarships, food donations, and support for local fire & rescue are all part of our plan.
🧑🌾 Farm Tours & Workshops
Soon, we’ll open our gates to the public for farm tours, gardening classes, composting lessons, and seasonal events. Whether you’re a home gardener or a curious kid, we want to teach and inspire.
🌿 Community Orchard Project
We're launching a fundraiser to bring this vision to life. By supporting our orchard, you’re helping build something that will feed and inspire for generations.
